The "Directory of Open Access Journals, Iran" or "DOAJI" is one of the products of the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IranDoc) in the field of open science. DOAJI, as the first comprehensive platform for indexing Iranian open access scientific journals, has taken a significant step toward spreading Iranian knowledge and research. IranDoc believes that valuable Iranian research achievements should be accessible to everyone, and researchers, students, and science enthusiasts worldwide should be able to easily access them. Inspired by the global open access movement and aligned with platforms like DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals, Iran), DOAJI is committed to building a bridge between high-quality Iranian journals and the international scientific community. The primary mission of DOAJI is the comprehensive and accurate indexing of all open access scientific journals published in Iran. We strive to create a user-friendly platform with advanced features, aiming to become a reliable reference for searching Iranian journals and research on a global scale. In the future, we envision DOAJI as a leader in the field of open access to knowledge in Iran, and we hope that Iranian research achievements will find their rightful place in the global scientific literature.

DOAJI only accepts journals whose content is published in the Gold Open Access model.

If your journal is rejected by the DOAJI, you can submit a request for reconsideration after six months from the date of rejection.
