Since the story narration was presented in the 20th century in different aspects, story writers found out the modern capacities in the field of narration which led them to reach the new tests in story writing and imagine a new horizon of story facilities. An important element in story writing is point of view used even in the first stories written. Point of view determines the position of narrator in story. Each story has a narrator from whose point of view the story is narrated, and this is narrator who moves the story in any direction he ٫ she intends. In this paper, types of narrator are studied. According to theory of Gerard Genet in History of Yemen, by AbushafarNasehlbn Zafar Jorghadghani. Since this book is historical, we may find therein several types of narrator. The results obtained in this research show that this book includes third party, writing, internal and figurative narrators are much more frequent among all types of narrator considered by Genet, and other types of narrator have been less used in the text on research, or any example was not found in this book for the mentioned reasons .
