"Language typology, a relatively new field in linguistics, investigates, compares, and categorizes languages based on their shared structural characteristics. A fundamental question within typology is whether the literary outputs of Iranian writers and poets from various geographical locales can be considered stylistically consistent, notwithstanding considerable linguistic variations, and subsequently analyzed within a singular historical period and specific stylistic category, while disregarding the lexical, structural, and phonetic heterogeneities present. By examining the application of the Persian language across different geographical regions and specific historical eras, typology provides benchmarks. These facilitate identifying a text's original linguistic variety and estimating the geographical origin and temporal context of compositions lacking clear authorship. This research employs a comparative-inductive methodology, seeking to identify the phonetic, structural, and lexical frameworks (the typology) of the text. By contrasting these frameworks with those in comparable texts, the study endeavors to ascertain the manuscript's linguistic variety and its approximate place of origin. The research findings suggest that the evolution of dialects and vernaculars towards Standard Persian did not occur uniformly and contemporaneously throughout all Persian-speaking regions. The book's stylistic variety is Transoxanian, marked by local Transoxanian dialects, a deep connection to its historical and social milieu, and the simultaneous influence of Sogdian, Middle Persian, and Arabic linguistic structures."
