Gott-Kaiser-Stebbins (GKS) effect in an accelerated expanding universe

Wewanttofindthecosmologicalconstantinfluenceoncosmicmicrowavebackground(CMB)temperatureduetomovinglinearcosmicstrings.Usingthespace-timemetricofalinearcosmicstringinanacceleratedexpandinguniverse,theGott-Kaiser Stebbins(GKS)effect,asanimportantmechanisminproducingtemperaturediscontinuityinthe(CMB),isconsidered;then,itsmodificationduetotheeffectofthecosmologicalconstantiscalculated.Theresultshowsthatapositivecosmologicalconstant(i.e.thepresenceofcosmicstringsinanacceleratedexpandinguniverse)weakensthediscontinuityintemperaturesothatastrongerresolutionisneededtodetectthecorrespondinginfluencesontheCMBpowerspectrumandanisotropy.
