An objective view of education and upbringing according to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is distinguished by its depth, comprehensiveness, and scientific application. It is based on principles and goals that align with divine nature and are derived from his words and practical behavior. His approach serves as a valuable model for educating and nurturing humanity, especially in Islamic societies, to cultivate human virtues in both individual and social life in contrast to some common deviating educational ideas. This research, employing descriptive-historical, analytical, and practical-applied methods, examines the language and concept of education and upbringing and their interrelationship. It discusses the process of education in Islam through its four methods and highlights the practical dimensions of Islamic education. The study explores spiritual education and its components from the perspective of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), including psychological, intellectual, social, and moral education. It also investigates religious education and its components according to Imam Ali, which are individual and social education. Furthermore, the research addresses the commonly used elements of each type of education, supported by statistical evidence, and examines their interconnections. It concludes that Imam Ali aims, through spiritual education, to cultivate individuals' relationships with society, while religious education focuses on individuals' relationships with the Creator
