We read with great interest an article by Parvizpour et al. (1) entitled “The Geographical Distribution of Global Biobanks” that is published in the latest issue of the Cell Journal. While they present valuable insights into the global distribution of biobanks, it appears to have significant methodological shortcomings that may undermine the validity of its findings.
