چکیده

E-commerce industries, driven by the key factor of effective inventory management, are gaining momentum in recent times across multiple dimensions, including economic, technological, and consumer-related aspects. Despite economic growth, the increasing environmental concerns associated with E-commerce have created a necessity to incorporate elements of environmental sustainability into inventory management. This research work develops an integrated E-commerce inventory model considering the critical cost parameters of inventory and sustainability as pentagonal Neutrosophic numbers. The objective of the proposed model is to minimize the total cost and maximize sustainability, considering pentagonal representations with truth, indeterminacy, and falsity values. The sustainability costs of carbon emissions, recyclable packaging, energy consumption, waste management, and green compliance, with different parameters, are augmented with the existing inventory cost parameters to evolve a more comprehensive and competent inventory model that balances both the economic and environmental aspects of E-commerce. Numerical simulations were performed to validate the efficacy of the model with pentagonal Neutrosophic representations. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model in determining optimal solutions for green E-commerce inventory management.
