چکیده

The present investigation deals with the effect of variable thermal conductivity in an isotropic, unbounded and homogeneous thermoelastic medium under Moore Gibson Thompson (MGT) thermoelasticity theory. The normal mode analysis technique is applied for obtaining the displacement, stress, and temperature field. The values of these components are obtained by simulation technique using MATLAB and are shown graphically. The results also depict the variations for different theories of thermoelasticity. The present investigation deals with the effect of variable thermal conductivity in an isotropic, unbounded and homogeneous thermoelastic medium under Moore Gibson Thompson (MGT) thermoelasticity theory.
