The estimation of thermodynamic equilibrium conditions of natural gas (NGL 1300 Gachsaran gas field) hydrates is shown in this research work. Also, the storage capacity of this gas at different pressures and temperatures has been calculated in the presence of DM water. Determination of natural gas hydrate formation was carried out according to experimental data, empirical correlations (Hamer Schmidt, Makagon, and Twitter relations), and software simulators (Hydrate Plus, CSMGem, and DWHC). Results show that there is a good agreement between the predictions by empirical correlations, CSMGem, and Hydrate Plus (Mann et al) and experimental data. Statistical analysis shows that pressure has a greater effect on the storage capacity than temperature. The increase in pressure has increased the solubility of natural gas in distilled water, thus increasing the storage capacity. In addition, the decrease in temperature has led to increasing of the storage capacity of gas hydrate.
