First report of Camponotidea saundersi (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae) from Iran

A faunal study on mirid bugs was carried out in western part of Kurdistan province during 2016-2017. Among collected species, Camponotidea saundersi (Puton, 1874) is reported for the first time from Iran. In this study description of species, male and female habitus and a taxonomical identification key for species of Camponotidea found in Iran are provided. The identified specimens were deposited in the insects collection of the Natural History Museum of University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran.
