Colpoclypeus florus (Walker, 1938) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) record a new genus from Iran

During sampling on aphids of apples trees through a survey in 2009 at Mashhad, North East Iran, some Tortricid larvae were collected with the parasitism symptoms. The parasited larvae were kept in laboratory conditions and checked daily until the emergence of parasitoid. Emerged wasp from the host larvae was identified as Colpoclypeus florus Walker. This eulophid is a gregarious ectoparasite which reports as new record for Iran Eulophid biodiversity.
