First report of the springtail Folsomia diplophthalma (Axelson) (Collembola: Isotomidae) from Iran

In the studies that were carried out to identify the Collembola fauna species in Kerman province of Iran, during the years 2016-2017, several samples were taken, isolated and collected by the Berlese funnel from different regions. After examination and identification of the species, Folsomia diplophthalma (Axelson, 1902) is reported for the first time from Iran.
