چکیده

The novel Schiff base ligand N1,N2-bis(2-(((1Z,2E)-3-phenylallylidene)amino)ethyl)ethane1,2-diamine and it’s complex was prepared through two paths .The first one is prepare Schiff base ligand through condensation reaction of the primary amine(Tri ethylene tetra amin ) with aromatic aldehyde(Cinnamal aldehyde)and addition of two drops of glacial acetic acid .the second bath involves adding the transitional metal Chloride has been used Copper Chloride(II), Nickel Chloride(II) and Palladium Chloride(II) were used each time to form three coordination complexes .The ligand and its complexes were characterized by using Ultraviolet-Visible spectroscopy ,FTIR spectroscopy ,MASS and ESI MASS spectroscopy and 1HMNR ,13CMNR measurement .And the molar conductivity and the magnetic susceptible of the ligand coordination complexes was also measured to identify the final geometric shape of the complexes the results gave the octahedral shape for the copper complex and a square planar for both the nickel and palladium complexes. At last, the bacterial activity of the ligand and its complexes was studied on four types of bacteria, including positive and negative gram as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, at several concentration.
