AbstractResearch in pediatric dentistry (PD) has often prioritized quantitative analysis, ignoring qualitative factors that limit our understanding of children’s emotions and experiences regarding dental treatment. Qualitative research offers insights into the experiences of children and families, highlighting shared concerns and assisting dental professionals in crafting better communication strategies to enhance engagement with children.
