چکیده

Nanotechnology is one of the great scientific revolutions of the twenty first century which promises a multitude of key industries. In the construction industry in particular—a sector traditionally associated with tortoise-like rates of technological changes—nanotechnology is pushing back material limits and carving out new opportunities for more efficient design, improved durability and more sustainable materials. Nano-silica, carbon nanotubes, graphene, and nano-titanium dioxide, all help to make concrete, steel and glass both stronger and lighter, more durable, self-cleaning, and self-healing. However, the successful application of nanotechnology in civil engineering requires not only scientific innovation but also highly coordinated teamwork. Teamwork plays a critical role at every stage—research and development, laboratory testing, structural design, product standardization, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance. The article concludes with future prospects and case studies illustrating how nanotechnology and teamwork together are shaping the next generation of intelligent, resilient, and sustainable building structures.
