Composite nanofibers of polyacrylonitrile/ multi wall carbon nanotubes (PAN-MWCNTs) were prepared via electrospinning techniques using a moving collector. Samples contained 1 wt%, 3 wt%, 5 wt%, and 7 wt% of MWCNTs. Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Dielectric Properties and UV-visible tests were used to characterize the nanofiber sheets. The results showed that with the addition of multi-walled carbon nanotubes, the fiber diameter decrease, the bandgap decreased from 4 eV to 2.7 eV when the wight percent of MWCNTs increased. the dielectric constant values of PAN nanocomposite fibers increase based on the amount of inclusions presented in the PAN fibers.Composite nanofibers of polyacrylonitrile/ multi wall carbon nanotubes (PAN-MWCNTs) were prepared via electrospinning techniques using a moving collector.
