چکیده

In this study, we have successfully synthesized ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles by the one-step chemical route method. The structure of the sample was identified as a tetragonal phase by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis showed the uniform spherical distribution of the particles with the range of 20 nm to 60 nm. The formation of chemical bonding of Zn and Fe2O4 was confirmed from the absorption bands that occurred at 531 cm-1 and 497 cm-1 by fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The optical bandgap of the synthesized ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles was estimated from the Tauc plot as 5.37 eV based on the absorption spectrum resulting from UV-vis studies. Electrochemical performance including dielectric loss, dielectric constant, and permittivity, of the prepared Zinc ferrite nanoparticles was studied and the behaviour of the sample at various temperatures was plotted and interpreted.
