A field experiment was conducted during the winter season 2021-2022 at the Agricultural Experiment Station of the University of Baghdad, according to a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in a split-plot arrangement with three replicates, to know the response of three Cultivars of bread wheat under spraying to different concentrations of glutathione and selenium. The experiment included two factors, the first of which was the Cultivars (Ibaa 99 and Buhooth 22 and Al Nour) and the second spraying different concentrations of glutathione and selenium and treatment without spraying, where the concentrations of glutathione were (500 and 1000) mg L-1 and selenium (10 and 20) mg L-1. sprayed in the beginning of tillering stage and the beginning of flowering stage. The results of the experiment showed the following: Buhooth 22 category excelled in the percentage of gluten, which gave the highest Means, was 36.10% Compared to the two Cultivars Ibaa 99 and Al-Noor. This contrasts the character of the percentage of selenium, which distinguished the variety lbaa99, by giving the highest Means of 552.93.ppb Compared with other types. As for different spray treatments: Spraying with glutathione at a concentration of 1000 mg L-1 was superior in the percentage of gluten, the percentage of protein, and the percentage of glutathione compared with the rest of the spray treatments, but they did not differ significantly in the percentage of protein with the highest concentration of selenium 20 mg L-1.
