چکیده

The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) is a prominent humanitarian organization focused on delivering disaster relief and emergency response services, alongside a wide range of health and social support programs. Its initiatives prioritize disease prevention, health promotion, emergency medical services, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), showcasing a comprehensive commitment to enhancing public health and community welfare throughout Iran. This study analyzes the IRCS's application of the IFRC 2030 Health and Care Framework through a review of documents, policies, and strategic plans. It highlights key programs aimed at improving community health and nutrition, vaccination efforts that have notably increased immunization rates, and collaborations with the Ministry of Health to enhance voluntary health services. The IRCS's significant contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic are emphasized, particularly its vaccination campaigns that ensured equitable access for citizens and vulnerable populations. Furthermore, the research explores the IRCS's humanitarian diplomacy efforts in partnership with international organizations to tackle public health challenges. The findings underscore the critical role of integrated health services and community empowerment in advancing health outcomes across Iran.
