Background and Objectives: The Iranian Red Crescent Medical Journal (IRCMJ) is an international, open-access journal indexed in the Journal Citation Reports. This study examines IRCMJ's social networks, collaboration patterns, conceptual structure, and factors that enhance citation rates, while identifying emerging research areas.    Methods: Bibliometric and data mining techniques were applied to analyze 2,895 IRCMJ publications using VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, and Clementine software.    Results: Research articles dominated the journal, but review articles garnered the most citations. A growing presence of non-Iranian authors, especially in 2023, signals steps toward internationalization, though high-quality foreign submissions remain limited. Collaborative networks are primarily driven by Iranian authors and institutions, but recent years have seen increased involvement from other countries. Key thematic areas identified include metabolic diseases, cancers, infectious diseases, and chronic diseases, with emerging topics like COVID-19 and biomarkers gaining traction. However, coverage of crisis management and Red Crescent-specific topics is weak. Citation analysis highlights the importance of indexing in reputable databases like PubMed and the influence of document type and Iranian financial support on citation counts.    Conclusion: Enhancing IRCMJ's quality and internationalization requires re-indexing in citation databases such as PubMed and Scopus, a focus on review articles, and efforts to attract high-quality foreign submissions. Addressing crisis management and Red Crescent topics could further align the journal's content with its goals.
