Background and Objectives: The pivotal role of oncology nurses in the comprehensive care of cancer patients, along with the significant influence of nursing-led interventions at various levels of cancer care, is widely acknowledged. However, many nursing students perceive the care of cancer and palliative patients as challenging, encountering numerous issues. This meta-analysis aims to systematically synthesize existing research to investigate the effectiveness of nursing care and education interventions in improving outcomes for cancer patients in Chinese hospital settings. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the correlation between nursing care quality, educational strategies, and patient outcomes.   Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted employing different databases and search engine such as Cochrane, EMBASE, Google Scholar, PubMed primarily the MEDLINE database, and Web of Science to identify studies on effective nursing care and nursing education in Chinese hospitals. Meta-analysis was performed using Cochrane RevMan 5.0.   Results: The initial search yielded 892 articles, from which 114 full-text reports were retrieved. After further elimination due to insufficient data (n = 40), lack of relevant data (n = 27), and mixed populations (n = 18), only 17 studies were deemed suitable for inclusion in this analysis. The selected studies, published between 2015 and 2023, encompassed a total of 5743 subjects (experimental group = 361, control group = 5383), the sample size exhibited variability, ranging from 0 to 865. The mean age of the oncology nurses involved in these studies was reported as 26.28 years.   Conclusion: The meta-analysis underscores the pivotal role of effective nursing care and targeted education interventions in improving outcomes for cancer patients in Chinese hospital settings. The key findings of the study reveal a significant correlation between high-quality nursing care practices and positive patient outcomes, including enhanced symptom management and increased satisfaction levels. The study highlights the interconnectedness of nursing care quality, educational strategies, and patient well-being in the context of cancer care. By prioritizing these aspects, healthcare systems can effectively meet the complex needs of cancer patients and improve overall healthcare outcomes in Chinese hospital settings.
