چکیده
Laryngotr.icheal stcnosis is mainly caused by intrinsic arrway iniuries such as long term rntubat1ons. Both congenital and acquired stenoscs are managed with open or closed (endoscopic) surgery. Either of approaches has its own characteristics and indIcatIons.1In Ille endoscopic approach, after the removal of stenosis by microsurgery, laser or dilatal1on, a stent is placed in the operated site to frov,de a patent airway and avoid granulation tissue formotion. •3We report a new technique with the presentation of a new instrument, IZADI Laryngeal Inserter (ILi®), to overcome commonly encountered d1rficulties in endoscopic procedures for laryngotracheal stcno!:>Is removal (fig-1); it will make it possible for hollow stents of any size to be pl.iced In the operated stenosed region and being fixed with nylon sutures transcervIcally.
