The Holy Quran, that is "Tbyana le kole shey" has briefly pointed to all sciences and arts. One of the important issues the Holy Quran deals with, back to 1400 years ago, is the science of embryology. Gaining the lexical perception of the words requires semantic knowledge. This could be achieved by referring to dictionaries on the one hand, and the Holy Quran and overviewing its events on the other. From the Holy Quran perspective, the second stage of embryo growth and development is referred to as "Alagheh". Quran commentators have interpreted "Alagheh" as "blood pack". The word "Alagh", the plural form is "Alagheh", means the object which is hung to the upper object. This word is typically used for blood pack, leeches, and blood clot which is attached to anything due to the moisture. The word "Alagh" has been mentioned for five times in the Holy Quran. There are different perspectives on the idea of whether "Alagh" is the same as "Alagheh" and both refers to the same stage of embryo development or not. To clarify the precise meaning of the word "Alagh", this study was carried out to determine the semantic domain of this word. The word "Alagh" is an explanation for the attachment of sperm to the egg. This was elegantly pointed out by the Holy Quran in a way that it is understandable to both earlier Arabs and current researchers because the Holy Quran could be comprehensively used in all periods of time.
