The Effect of Black Soybean (𝐺𝑙𝑦𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑗𝑎) Extract on Preventing Hypertension and Proteinuria in Preeclampsia Pregnant Wistar Rat (𝑅𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑢𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑐𝑢𝑠) Model

چکیده

Preeclampsia with early onset significantly increases perinatal and maternal mortality influenced by elevated androgens. There is no effective pharmacological treatment for preeclampsia, so prevention is crucial. Black soybeans (Glycine soja), known for their anti-androgen properties, may serve as a preventive alternative. The study aims to determine effect of Black Soybean (Glycine soja) extract on preventing hypertension and proteinuria through increasing er-α expression, aromatase expression, estradiol hormone, trophoblast invasion, and spiral artery remodeling in the uterus in preeclampsia pregnant wistar rat (Rattus novergicus) model. The research design is a true experimental posttest-only control group design. The research sample consisted of 25 pregnant rats (Rattus novergicus), which were divided into five groups: normal pregnant rats (C-), preeclampsia model rats (C+), and the treatment group, which included pregnant rats with preeclampsia model given 50 mg/200gBW, 100 mg/200gBW, and 200 mg/200gBW G. soja extract. The results of the study show that 96% ethanol extract of G. soja with a dose of 200 mg/200gBW proved to be most effective to prevent preeclampsia, which increases the level of ER-α expression (9.33), aromatase expression (10.17), estradiol levels (40.33 ng/mL), trophoblast invasion (3.43 µm), spiral artery remodeling (10.71 µm), decrease of proteinuria (0.07 mg/ml), systolic and diastolic blood pressure (117.6/88.23 mmHg). Conclusions: G. soja extract has therapeutic potential in preventing preeclampsia.
