چکیده

The applications of nanoparticles have been applied in the industrial world mainly over the past two decades. Nanoparticles (NPs) have seen significant advancements in diverse fields such as medicines, biomedical research, cosmetics, seafood, packaging, industry, and majorly in drug delivery systems. Nanoparticles can be produced both naturally and synthetically. While they have been used for centuries, engineered nanoparticles have only recently become advanced tools in modern applications. Beyond this highly innovative and economically growing field nanotechnology may present a range of threats to human health and the environment. The increasing use of nanomaterial in household and industrial applications leads to their release into environment. Assessment of the risk of nanoparticles in the surroundings demands an indulgent of their reactivity, mobility persistency, and eco-toxicity. The present work is an effort to present hazardous effect of nanomaterials on the human health and their surroundings. Up to now only a small number of quantitative investigative techniques for measuring nanoparticles in likely systems have been presented, which result in a severe lack of knowledge concerning their chance in the environment. The results of ecological studies prove that some nanoparticle have special impacts on organisms underneath environmental circumstances. The subsequent step towards the judgment of risks of nanoparticles in the atmosphere must then be to guess the disclosure of various nanoparticles. It is significant to become aware that many of the nanoparticles used in industrial processes are functional and thus research on ideal nanoparticles should not be applicable to the assessment of the nature and effect of the nanoparticle practically used. Therefore, recent efforts have been focused on describing the toxicity of these nanomaterials on the environment, including human beings, aquatic life, air, and soil. Further research is needed to assess the exposure and impact of various nanoparticles, particularly those widely used in industrial processes.
