With a descriptive-analytical method, the present article entitled "How to the Soul Knows the Divinity According the Christian Mystic Meister Eckhart" deals with examining the reality and the levels of the human soul and how it knows God from the perspective of Eckhart. Eckhart believes that knowledge of God cannot be achieved through philosophy and he considers mysticism i.e. severance from the world and loving God as the only way. Believing that the soul is multilevel, he on one hand distinguishes between the divinely self (inner self) and the created self (outer self), and on the other hand, he distinguishes between the divine Essence (Oneness) and the triune God. From his perspective, before creation, human was united with God and, after creation, he/she lost his/her unity. The knowledge of God happens when man becomes once again united with the Real and gains the position of annihilation in the divinity. Reaching this position will not occur unless gaining the virtue of detachment from the world of sense and appearance, which Eckhart considers love as a way to detach from appearance, which causes unity and annihilation in the One.
