structural lexical semantics is one of the branches of semantics that Izutsu offered diachronic approach of that in Quranic studies based on the theory of meaning of Leo weisgerber and Ethno linguistics views. Izutsu in his Quranic studies introduces new approach in survey of Quranic concepts. His method in describing networks of meanings is used in giving consistently image of quranic concepts. offering  methodical review of Quranic words and presented diachronic approach can be considered a major accomplishment of semantics of Izutsu. In addition to the strengths of this approach should also spoke weaknesses.Izutsu­­ s method because of basing  on an extreme Sapir-Whorf hypothesis exposed to critical veiws. Extreme approach on the role of language in thinking and analysis of the language in the light of tribal world are some critical point of his views. Also his method on forming semantic field need more attention.This article with descriptive method seeks to examine the Izutsu veiws in his quranic semantics and give critical approach on his principles.
