A new neutrosophic distribution using quadratic transmuted exponential distribution: Properties and applications

This study introduces the Neutrosophic Quadratic Transmuted Exponential Distribution (NQTED), employing a quadratic rank transmutation map within the Neutrosophic probability framework. The NQTED is proposed by introducing a new parameter to the standard Exponential Distribution, tailored for analyzing datasets in indeterminate and inconsistent environments during transmutation. The research systematically explores properties such as moments, quantiles, skewness, kurtosis, and entropy, estimating unknown parameters through the Maximum Likelihood method (ML method). A Monte Carlo Simulation studies validate the robustness of these estimates. Finally, the practical applicability of the NQTED is demonstrated using two different real datasets, showcasing its implementation in a real-world context, and comparing its performance against the classical QTED distribution. This novel distribution model enhances the repertoire of tools for probabilistic modeling, particularly in scenarios marked by uncertainty and inconsistency.
