چکیده

The acrylate-based pressure-sensitive adhesives were made by emulsion polymerizing a monomer mixture of vinyl acetate, butyl acrylate, styrene, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate, and acrylic acid. SEM microscopy was used to analyze the dispersion of silica nanoparticles in the samples and peel and shear strength analysis were used to verify their adhesion properties. The results showed that adding the vinyl acetate monomer enhanced the Tg parameter and adhesive properties compared to copolymers synthesis from the other four monomers. In addition, introducing silica nanoparticles somewhat increased the sample adhesion, peel, and shear strength metrics. Due to the complicated and uncomfortable dispersion of larger compositions in latex, one wt% was chosen as the best composition
