چکیده

The arrangement of the words which tend to appear together is called collocation, playing a constructive role in forming the lexical system of languages. In the current research, it has been attempted to discuss the representation of collocation in the Holy Quran by the use of a corpus as big as 4 surahs  Isra, Kahf, Maryam, and Taha. The Quran is a book by the benefit of which all over the Islamic world has been awakened. Hence, such a holy book requires to be analyzed so that its mysteries will be uncovered for the Islamic Cognitions Followers. On the basis of 20 conceptual relations in this research, 17 numbers of which were observed in the investigated corpus, 397 collocations (the repeated samples are also counted) were extracted out of 454 signs which express the Holy Quran’s wide use of collocation to transfer the concepts of epistemic principles. In this study, clefting relations, collocation and contrast have the maximum appearance. Furthermore, the results showed that despite the variety of subjects as well as the gradual appearance of Quran, some of the collocations are observed in every part of Quran which deny the discontinuity of the Quran showing a continuous chain in the whole content of which the human being is guided. The identification and description of simple, multiple, unilateral, and bilateral collocation are the achievement of this study.
