Traveling Wave Solutions of the Sine-Gordon and the Coupled Sine-Gordon Equations Using the Homotopy-Perturbation Method

چکیده
Abstract. In this research, the Homotopy-Perturbation Method (HPM) has been used for solving sine- Gordon and coupled sine-Gordon equations, which have a wide range of applications in physics. HPM deforms a dicult problem into a simple one which can be easily solved. The results obtained by HPM are then compared with those of the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM). The method has been shown to eectively, easily and accurately solve a large class of nonlinear problems with approximations converging rapidly to accurate solutions.
