Semiology of Mystical Aspects of the Character of Kay Khosrow in the Zoroastrian Religious and Literal Texts

In the ancient Iranian myths, many kings had been mentioned who had much characteristics and specifications amongst them Kay Khosrow is different king that numerous characteristics had been mentioned for him and this has become him as the symbol of a perfect and charismatic human being. With a qualitative research method and on the basis of myth criticism approach, with an archetype tendency, this research deals with the mystical analysis of the story of this myth and tries to interpret the semiology of his mystical aspects on the basis of this approach in the religious and literal texts. In this semiology, Kay Khosrow is a charismatic king, a transcendental human being and an ideal of the archetype of “Shāh-Mūbadh (king-priest)” which is representing the myth of baptism, the power of blessing, possessing the prophesying cup, passing and forms the main and structural components of the Kay Khosrow myth. What is achieved shows that Kay Khosrow is the symbol of “perfect man” of the Iranian myths which at the end of the time of “Farashgard” will transform the myth history of Iran into a systematic and repeated reality of the cosmic creation cycle.
