چکیده

A novel energetic plasticizer, bis(3-azido-2,2-bis(azidomethyl)propoxy)methane, was synthesized and characterized using NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis revealed a glass transition temperature of Tg = -68.3°C. The compound was subjected to heating from 298 to 723 K at rates of 2, 5, 10, and 15 K/min. Kinetic parameters, including activation energy (Eₐ), rate constant (k), and pre-exponential factor (A), were derived from DSC and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) data using non-isothermal methods such as Flynn-Wall-Ozawa (FWO), Kissinger, and Starink. Using the Kissinger method, Eₐ, k, and A were determined to be 140.50 kJ/mol, 1.1864 × 10⁹ s⁻¹, and 6.08 × 10¹³ s⁻¹, respectively. Thermodynamic parameters like enthalpy (ΔH≠) and entropy (ΔS≠) of activation were also analyzed. The plasticizer exhibited thermal stability, with a half-life of 18.5 to 21.8 years at 50°C. Its critical explosion temperature (Tb) was measured at approximately 224.7°C.
