The objective of this study is to measure the elimination of Eriochrome Black T from aqueous solutions using Cu and CuO-Fe2O3 adsorbents. CuO and CuO-Fe2O3 were prepared by modified green method, and several strategies were used to characterize it such as EDX, SEM, and XRD. Batch adsorption tests were carried out using a number of variables, including the effect of shaking time, the effect of PH, and the effect of the amount of adsorbent. The results indicated that the removal of Eriochrome black T on CuO and Cuo-Fe2O3 had the highest connection time of 60 min. The condition of balance was accurate using the Freundlich and Langmuir models. The adsorption kinetics data were followed by the pseudo-second-order model. The kinetic studies show that the pseudo-second-order model can represent Eriochrome black T adsorption procedures. Based on the thermodynamic analysis, Eriochrome black T adsorption is an exothermic and spontaneous process, while for CuO-Fe2O3, physico-sorption is endothermic and spontaneous.
