In this work, chromenopyrrolopyridines have been effectively synthesized, which are categorized within a novel classification of fused heterocyclic compounds, by employing a multicomponent reaction with remarkable efficiency. The methodology incorporated 1-naphthol, 2-arylidenemalononitrile, activated acetylenic reagents, and alkyl bromides in an aqueous medium at ambient temperature, with Cu@Fe3O4/SiO2@MWCNTs functioning as a recyclable catalyst. This scholarly investigation not only explores the antioxidant properties of chromenopyrrolopyridines, but also builds upon prior research conducted in this domain. The synthesis of chromenopyrrolopyrrole demonstrated numerous advantageous characteristics, including expedited reaction times, enhanced yields of the final product, and straightforward extraction of both the catalyst and product from the reaction mixture.
