Protection of rivers as the national capital and one of the important water resources of the country, in the areas of agriculture, economic, industrial, transportation, health, drinking and recreational, is a necessity. Unfortunately, no sufficient economic and social studies have been done in this field. Given that any manipulation in the river -either quantitatively and qualitatively- arise different reactions, and if these changes be not in the direction of water and riverbed regularity, calls for expensive and damageful response in longtime, so, this necessitates all regional and civil plans, to be delivered on a scientific and correct base. Statistics population contained some settelers and farmers of Khuzestan permanent and seasonal riverbeds. Using Cochran formula, 270 samples were gathered, completed by the beneficiaries of 6 riverbeds in Khuzestan. This was a survey, the findings of which show that among factors influencing farmers of seasonal and permanent riverbeds, some ones like social cohesion, social participation, social confidence, tendency in agriculture, attachment to riverbed Agricultural land, also economic factors, are much rigorous  in farmers with their lands located on the permanent rivereds, than those with lands located in seasonal riverbeds. The main difference between the farmers of permanent and seasonal riverbeds, goes back to aggregating social tendencies (including social cohesion, social participation and social confidence), and in individual tendencies (including educational level), little differences was observed between there two types of farmers.
