چکیده

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are a third-generation solar technology. They have gained popularity in recent years. This study evaluates the energy efficiency of light-sensitized solar cells on porous silica substrates. Porous silica substrates have unique properties. They have a high surface area, and are stable both mechanically and thermally. They also have specific volume and diameter. These attributes make them highly suitable for dye solar cells (DSSCs). The effective utilization of crystalline silica dispersed within porous substrates enhances efficiency due to their specific morphology and volume. The dye solar cells based on porous substrates were analyzed using SEM, XRD, and XRF techniques. In addition, the study examined the tin oxide coating on porous silica using SEM techniques. Factors influencing solar energy efficiency, such as type, color, temperature, surface area, and coating were investigated thoroughly, and optimal quantities were determined for each scenario.
