This work proposes an effective method for extracting oxidized sulfur-containing compounds from gas condensate. The oxidative desulfurization of stable gas condensate was investigated in the presence of Na2MoO4, hydrogen peroxide, dibenzoyl peroxide, and air bubbling. The oxidation products were extracted from the oxidized gas condensate using aluminum oxide, silica gel, sulfonated charcoal, activated carbon, and zeolite NaA and NaX, or by extraction with acetone, acetonitrile, N-methylpyrrolidone (N-MP), and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMFA). The combination of gas condensate oxidation followed by adsorption purification using ASCG silica gel or extraction purification with N,N-dimethylformamide allows for a reduction in total sulfur content from 7540 ppm to 680 ppm and 845 ppm, respectively.
