In this study, the synthesis of a novel GO@CS@SB nanocomposite is reported via the sonochemical method. To modify chitosan, it was reacted with (N, N'-bis (2-hydroxy acetophenone) ρ-phenylenediamine), which led to the formation of CS@SB. Subsequently, CS@SB was combined with graphene oxide, resulting in an increased density of functional groups such as OH, COOH, and nitrogen-based donors. These functional groups significantly influence the chemical composition and physical properties. They increase non-covalent interactions, which play a significant role in material applications. The nanocomposite was characterized using FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM, and XRD. Additionally, TGA-DTA measurements were conducted to evaluate the thermal stability of the GO@CS@SB material.
