هدف از انجام این تحقیق بررسی رابطه سهامداران نهادی به عنوان مالک و مدیر بر درماندگی مالی شرکت‌های پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران می‌باشد. روش تحقیق از منظر هدف کاربردی و از نظر ماهیت جمع‌آوری داده‌ها توصیفی-همبستگی و از نوع داده کمی است. جامعه آماری تحقیق را کلیه شرکت‌های پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران در بازه زمانی زمانی1390 تا 1394 تشکیل می‌دهد، به منظور نمونه‌گیری از روش حذف سیستماتیک استفاده شده و تعداد 107 شرکت به عنوان نمونه انتخاب گردیده است. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از نرم‌افزار Eviews استفاده شده است. نتایج تحقیق حاکی از این است که بین تعداد سهامداران نهادی که در هیئت مدیره‌اند(مالکیت نهادی)و درماندگی مالی شرکت‌های مورد مطالعه و همچنین بین تعداد سهامداران نهادی که مالک شرکت‌اند(مالکیت مدیریتی) و درماندگی مالی شرکت‌ها رابطه معنادار وجود دارد. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between institutional shareholders as owner and manager on financial distress in companies admitted to Tehran Stock Exchange. The research method is applied from the perspective of the target and descriptive in terms of the nature of the data collection. The statistical population of the study is Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), a systematic elimination sampling method, and a sample size of 107 companies. Eviews software has been used to analyze the data. The results of the research indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between the number of institutional shareholders that are on the board of directors (institutional ownership) and the financial distress of the companies studied, as well as the number of institutional shareholders that own the company (management ownership) and financial distress.
