Is there International Humanitarian Law for Gaza?

Recent headlines have been dominated by the war in Gaza, but to understand the present crisis, one must recognize that its roots trace back over 70 years, to the initial occupation of Palestinian territories by Zionist forces. The dire conditions in Gaza began to intensify around two decades ago, when the occupying regime imposed a blockade and confined over two million people to just 365 square kilometers—creating one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
