One of the allegory stories of Persian literature is salaman and absal which is originated from Greek mythology. In the Persian literature, there are different narratives about this story among them, Honayn-ebn-Eshagh’s narrative (third century) and jami’s narrative (ninth century) are more similar to each other, it shows, that jami in this story has used Honayn-Ebn-Eshagh’s narrative and has had some modifications to approach it to Islamic- Iranian culture. Jami’s attentuion to Eskandar, Eskandar’s wisdom and Greek culture has made this story to promote after 6 centuries – from Honayn- ebnEshagh’stranslation to Jami’sera.
