Results: The establishment of midwifery school as a turning point in the history of scientific developments in the age of confrontation between Iran and the West, at the same time as the beginning of many social changes, helped to improve the interaction process of traditional and modern discourse. Graduates of this school improved the field for women's awareness, participation and achievement of their true position in Iran's medical and educational system, emphasizing the mothers’ health and helped to improve their social status in a traditional but modern society. While paying attention to the importance of the presence of Iranian women in the field of education, they were involved in accelerating the process of women's education, relying on the fact that ignoring their education leads to the inefficiency of half of the society. Conclusion: The establishment of a midwifery school was a new experience in the heart of the modern society which changed Iranian women’s status in order to produce knowledge and provide useful solutions. In order to create a stable identity, this educational institution organized women's social demands by strengthening self-confidence and self-belief, through increasing health awareness and legal knowledge.
