Background: This research aimed to investigate the relationship between the components of job burnout and psychological health of general practitioners working in the hospitals of Jundishapur University. Accordingly, a sample of 196 (F: 81, M: 115) was randomly selected. Results: The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that the components of job burnout explained 54% of the variance of the criterion variable. Furthermore, emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment determined the highest and lowest degree in explaining the variance of psychological health, respectively.
